Culture Review & Issues Management Implementation Plan

Over the past few years, CFA has been working hard to improve our culture and to improve the way we address issues when they do arise and we want to make sure we are doing everything we can to support our people.

In 2021, we commissioned an External Review of Culture and Issues Management to ensure we had independent expertise supporting us in identifying what more we need to do to create a positive, diverse and inclusive culture where our people feel safe and supported.

Following consultation with members from across the State, and an examination of what we can learn from other national and international organisations, the review report provides an in-depth analysis of the key challenges facing CFA; what’s working well and where we need to change. It provides a detailed road map for us on what is a significant cultural journey.

In response to the report, we have developed high-level actions to implement each of the recommendations. Members are invited to provide feedback on the draft implementation plan.
